72.When she was 17, her father and eldest brother died one after another, so she had to support her family For that reason, she decided to run a general store near Yoshiwara Asakusa, but it was not well managed, and she want to make a living as a novelist. Takekurabe, famous for her work, is set in front of Daionji Temple near Yoshiwara, depicting the emotions of adolescent boys and girls. When released in 1896, it was highly evaluated by Ogai Mori and Rohan Kishibe. However, in November of that year, she died at the age of 24 due to previously suffering from pulmonary tuberculosis. There are many voices who regret the early death of the artist, and the work is still handed down to many people today
